Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Heil’s longstanding established business partner Tanker Solutions Limited (TSL) in Wellington (NZ) have recently delivered their 500th petroleum tanker to customers in New Zealand in 2024. Tanker Solutions Limited delivers Heil petroleum tanks to customers among others, and specializes in fuel pumping tankers.
In honor of this extraordinary milestone and business breakthrough, Heil Asia President Nicholas Ling flew to congratulate Tanker Solutions Limited’s General Manager, Mr. Scott Wilkin. Nic presented an honorary plaque, and also took time to listen to Scott’s feedback and mutual advice.
Nic asked Scott what he felt were some of the USPs of Heil, and how Heil Asia are best able to support the mission of TSL going forwards. Scott’s answer covered key points including customer support for tankers in the field, operating cost reductions achieved through the use of specialist lightweight tankers, and long service life. TSL’s General Manager shared his insights, saying, “Being able to get fast access to spares and maintenance parts is essential as we are responsible for taking care of our customers and meeting their needs in as timely a way as possible. Coupled with the long service life and low operating costs of Heil trailers, taken together this is a powerful proposition for customers. We are very confident Heil will continue to deliver on its promises and product innovation in the future when customers request a Heil solution.”
When asked what it meant to the company in reaching the monumental milestone of having delivered 500 petroleum tankers to customers, Scott said that it was “an emotional, very fulfilling moment for everyone at the company, essentially revitalizing the efforts of our TSL staff and encouraging everyone to strive for the best service level possible. We’ll continue to work in partnership with companies like Heil Asia to help operators serve as the backbone of New Zealand’s Petroleum Tanker fleet, which remains essential to our national infrastructure.”
